I'm an advisor in Orlando, so these firms are my competitors. That's exactly why I wrote this: you're going to compare options anyway, and you deserve a straight list. I chose firms based on public information: their own websites, their stated focus, and industry listings. I haven't worked with them, and descriptions marked "self-reported" are their claims, not mine. Always verify a broker's license on the Florida DBPR website before you sign.
How to choose a business broker in Orlando
- Match the deal size. A broker who sells $300,000 businesses runs a different process than one who sells $10M companies.
- Ask who does the work. The person who pitches you isn't always the person who works your file.
- Ask about SBA experience. Most Florida buyers under about $5M use SBA loans, and the October 2026 rules raised the bar.
- Read the fee agreement. Minimums, retainers, tail clauses and fees on seller notes matter more than the headline percentage.
- Check the license. In Florida, anyone paid to sell your business must be a licensed real estate broker or work under one.

Where Ebenger Advisors fits
I'm not ranking myself here, and my Florida broker license is pending, so I don't list businesses yet. What I offer now: fixed-fee sale-readiness assessments, valuations and deal reviews from a former PE investor who bought his own Florida company with an SBA loan. If you hire one of the firms above, a second opinion on your price and your LOI is still worth having. Send me your numbers.
